Ugh.. Just got a brand new car (honda accord, white), and I managed to
spill nail polish remover, a whole bottle of it over my trunk lid (on
the paint). I wiped it off with a dry towel, and I don't see any
visible damage. Then when I got home, I wiped down the trunk lid with
plain water and a towel. Anybody know if I will suffer from future
problems? Any suggestions?

If you don't see any difference in the finish, you probably didn't do any
harm. The nail polish remover would do its damage by dissolving the finish.
It sounds like it didn't harm yours. Just don't do it again! 8-)

The paint is quite resistant to quick spills.

Heavy alcohols, like brake fluid and coolant, are what kill the paint.
They evaporate slower than it takes them to soak in and make the paint
mushy.
